Do they really fill up to 1000 pounds capacity in the ski locker..Of say a newer nautique? I have tried a ballast bag in the ski locker and can't get that much water in the bag to really make a difference. I can't believe I can get that much water in the locker of my '98

Rob,

Although I am not familiar with a '98 Nautique, if the layout is similar to a 99 or 2000 then your answer is NO. Our bags can fill up to 1000 lbs., however very few boats on the market have a large enough ski locker to hold that kind of weight.

To get the most weight into your ski locker you should take a measurement of the parameters inside the locker then chose a bag that best fits. There are plenty of manufacturers who offer a wide range of sizes and there are even some who make custom sizes.

Rob, it is not our intention to falsely advertise or to fool customers....that is not the way we conduct business. We apologize if we have misguided you or anyone else.

FYI, we do have a very limited sizing chart (http://www.fluidconcepts.net/Pages/ballast/ballast_applications.htm) on our website. Of course, Rob, your boat is not listed. Look for a more extensive list next spring.

Jerry Lembas
Fluid Concepts
www.fluidconcepts.net

Just buy that bag and put it on the floor. It is the best bag you will ever find.
