I am looking to buy a really nice digital camera, good zoom, good for action shots. I would also like to buy a fish eye lens within this budget. Maybe later buy some kind of housing. Any suggestions?

Matt, <BR>That's a big list for 1000.00 bucks. You might be able to pick up a used Canon 20D and a 70-200 f/4 for that. Well that is my fault for assuming a good fish eye is only $150-$200. How about just a good camera for that range? Without the extra fish eye and housing.

welcome to a long hard road realizing that photography is always going to be more expensive than you want it to be. just be glad it doesnt cost you $.40 a shot <BR> <BR>buy a used 20d or d70 and spend the rest on some decent used glass. thats going to be your best bet to get started at $1000
