1997 Sanger V210 upholstery, etc...California Bay Area
Hi...I have a 1997 Sanger V210 that is starting to show some wear and I'd like to get some of the issues fixed. Namely, some of the upholstery is starting to tear and there are some holes in various spts. Also, the rear engine hatch feels like the hinging is about to completely tear and the lag screws for the gas assist shocks have pulled out.
Anybody have a suggestion for a place I can take it (reasonably priced) in the bay area to have the issues fixed? I'm thinking I'd like to change the lag screws to a backing plate/bolt system to eliminate the possibility of pulling out again. Anybody have the part number for the replacement gas shock for that year? Any other fun upgrades/modifications that anyone has done to that style Sanger? Would love to do a ballast system as well, but I think budgetwise I need to stick with the other stuff first. |
It's worth the trip to go down to Sanger and have it done.

Charles...would they be willing to do the work at the factory do you think? Who could I call down there?

Where are you located? I could do any and all work on that boat you could possibly want and at a reasonable price.

Sparky Jay...boat (and me) is located in Danville. I'm all ears...let me know if we can put something together!

Call Wayne in the trim shop @ Sanger. he will do it.
|
Sanger will do it but this is the busy time of year so there will be a wait. Its also all the way in Fresno and cost will be expensive.

Sparky is the man!!

Sparky...email sent. Scott at Sanger is giving me a quote but I am expecting it to cost as much as just selling mine and getting a newer used boat. I love my '97...just want to keep her functionally on the water. She runs like a top...just needs a little TLC here and there...normal wear and tear stuff.

Buy the skins, have them sent to you and get a local shop to install them if that is an option.
