Looks like a nice deep v hull somewhat like the new boats. I like the walk through also. Good price.
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/boa/1182321945.html

I think that would be like my wave.

duffymahoney 06-01-2009 2:29 PM

I believe that is the same hull as the avalanche. It's the same size and shape as my boat.

duramat 06-01-2009 2:33 PM

Chris you can go onto Centurioncrew and ask there as well.

If you ride goofy you may be dissapointed that you probably wont be able to get the wave youd like due to the fact you'll have no room for sacs because of the walk through transom. Regular,, With a custom sac and some peeps I think youd have a stellar wave!

Im a fan of the red too! Them "ride em Cowboy stickers have got to go though!

I have an Avy and put 700 lbs. in my walk thru transom. Goofy wave is awsome. We load close to 2500lbs. on my starboard side. So it can be done with a little effort. I think Duffy is right. The Avy and Escalade are the same hull. My avy title actually says escalade.

cromulius 06-01-2009 2:57 PM

Wow thats is some quick response. On my boat it is ride port side or dont ride. That walk through seems great especially for the kids.

The only thing that is weird is that trailer. It's doesn't look stock and it's missing the prop gaurd. You will love the boat!

rhawn 06-01-2009 3:15 PM

That trailer is no bueno for that boat. That's like an I/O trailer for a much shorter boat.

bigshow 06-01-2009 4:52 PM

Same hull as an Avalanche and one heck of a good surf wake. I've seen that boat on ebay. Damn ugly trailer but its price is attractive.

duramat 06-01-2009 4:59 PM

I stand corrected, If Anthony is happy with it and can get a good goofy wave Then it can be done. Look into it!!

The price is right!

We've used Avalanches at the last two National Wakesurf Championships. You can get a heck of a good wake on both sides. It helps to have a Bennett trim tab.

The escalade is the same as the Avy for 2003. And yes, killer surf wave! You would Definetely need a new trailer!!!

wake26 06-03-2009 1:21 PM

ditto on the trailer its not even close to the right one looks like an old I/O trailer.

Chris, I'm sure you have already checked this company out, but I tried to buy an Air Nautique from them a couple years back and they tried to screw us around.
First- they were about as clueless as a person could be on the boat.
Second- they had cars back in the shop with the boat that had obviously been wrecked that they were "fixing." (It made me wonder what they had done with the boat.)
Third- the sales man said that they were closing on the boat the next day for a guy, but if we would give him cash he would let us take it that day.
And the icing on the cake was he "didn't have time for us to take it out to the lake."

We ran out of there as fast as we could.
