I recieved an email from Shaun regarding this board for my wife and as an alternate board to teach people on and give me a chance to try something other than my 140 premier. He puts everyone at his camp on it and has had no problems. He said it would ride like the old belmont but...I will just paste his email here...

brian, both the TFD and the Temet are continuous rocker and super forgiving. If
you like the belmonts then you should like the temet since that is where it came
from. I raised the center of the board to soften landing, like a spoon and made
the tip of the board track differently so while riding switch it tracks better to help
the akward feeling. Most beginners wont notice but intermediate to advance
should notice some. I put everyone at my camp on a temet and they are super
happy with it. Just remember, the bigger the better as long as it doesn't feel
huge under you. more to land on, more to take off and more forgiving all
around. put your stance out as wide as you can go to help with smoother
landings. similar to doing squats with weights, wide stance, chest up.

good luck. shaun

I ordered mine today. I asked about the TFD because the local school here uses it as there beginers teaching board.
