Im looking to run two 10" subs. My question is what kind of amp is better for running two subs. I don't know that much about this type of thing but would it be better off getting a mono amp and splitting it to the two subs or getting a 2ch amp. Also another question is, for subs is it worth the money to get a dual voice coil sub. I see that that it alows you to half the resistance by wiring them in parallel. If there is a website that explains things like this it would be great.
Thanks
David
http://www.bcae1.com/

Lots of good info on this one. Remember no matter how you wire them series or parallel the power will split between the speakers if they are wired on the same channel. Series splits the voltage, parallel splits the current, power = voltage X current, so there is no gain if you wire them together, just use the formulas on the site and wire them so they match the optimum impedence for your amp.
