Keith

Out near Puerto Morelos there is someone that runs people behind a Mastercraft. I only saw the boat set up and parked but I was told by the local dive shop that the boat is for skiing and wakeboarding.

Puerto Morelos is about 20 minutes south of Cancun and actually the better place to stay, if you want to be away from the overwhelming tourist influence. It has some, but you can dodge around it easily enough.

We were there around Thanksgiving and wish you Good luck - each day we dove or were out on the ocean, we swayed through enormous swells.

If you SCUBA dive, I definitely recommend paying for a cenote dive (diving in the underground, water filled caverns through stalagmites and stalactites. Very cool...

www.solsearch.us

Louise,

Thanks for the info. We are actually staying about an hour south of Cancun at Adventura Spa Palace. Your recommendation should work great - I'll let you know how it works out.

-Keith
