Hi to everyone,

This is my first post, so hopefully I do it right. I am looking to buy a boat in Jan at the San Diego, CA boat show. My question is, now that I have narrowed a few boats down how would I go about setting demos up? I would like to be able to buy it at the boat show, so I would like to demo before hand so I know what I am looking for, but don't most dealers want you to be in the process of buying from them before they allow you to demo? Also if I am buying in Jan would I be looking at 07 or 08 boats? Thanks for any help.

Just call the dealers of the boats you are interested in and set up the demo. If they don't want give you a demo because you aren't already in the process of making a purchase I wouldn't bother buying a boat from that dealer. You will find some left over 07 models and mostly new 08 models at a winter show.

Why must you buy at the boat show?

(Message edited by aarond0083 on June 21, 2007)

Thanks Aaron,
I was looking to buy at the boat show because I started researching this year so I went to the Los Angeles boat show as well as Pomona boat show. As well I went to some dealers in between, and just talking to the dealers at both it looked like I was going to get a lot more upgrades in addition to saving anywhere from 3-8K depending on the boat I go with.
