In the fall i am studying abroad in Bermuda and i was wondering about the wakeboarding situation there. If anyone has been there or knows about wakeboarding there if you could let me know that'd be great.

Try to find a guy named Brian Clinton who runs one of the marinas on the island. He's lived there all his life and he would know if anyone wakeboards there.

Oh, and tell him Dave from NJ says hi!

There are some ski schools there, at least there were 5 years ago. I remember they had Nautiques and MasterCrafts but I don't know if wakeboarding is big now. We stayed at a friend's place on the Bermuda Sound which was glass and crystal clear 20' down. People would go by water skiing behind an outboard every day. I still dream of living there with a nice boat.

got a mate who lives there has his own boat and might be free to give a pull every other week or so
can ask him

I was there last summer. I got in touch with a guy named Kent Richardson. He has an older Ski Nautique (i think) and he gives pulls there. It's not much of a personal motor boat kind of place because of the duty to bring a boat in like that. It's like 100% duty or some crap like that. Anyway, here is the guy's email address that I talked to last summer. krsuper@northro ck.bm

I believe it was between hamilton and summerset. In a little inner cove...pretty sweet though. So it's a guy that does it privately...email him and see what comes of it!
