2001 Malibu Wakesetter LSV help

Hey guys I just picked up an 01 Malibu LSV and I'm a little lost on where to start with this thing. I have pretty much owned nautiques my entire life (1990 Sport Nautique--> 99 Super Air--> 06 SAN 220). Never thought I would own anything but a nautique, but I broke my lower leg/ dislocated ankle last year playing bball so we decided to sell the boat. Well one year later my leg/ankle feels good but still has a rod and seven screws in it so I thought it might be a good idea for me to pick up something with a little more interior room and less of a vert wake.

After doing some research I guess the old malibu diamond hulls aren't great for wakeboarding but I assume I can still get a respectable wake out of this thing. It has the stock center ballast which is like 500 lbs. and the wedge, so I was thinking of just adding 400 lb sacks to the v-drive lockers and a 500lb sack up front for a total of 1800 lbs. I know this isn't a ton of weight but I really don't want to add any more weight. My question is how will the wake be? And if anyone has anyone experience with this boat please let me know of anything to keep an eye out for.

I don't need a pro size wake. Just a good solid consistent wake is what I really want.
