1 fantasy point > 1-3.... go seahawks, you need all the support you can get!

seattle 10-11-2009 3:16 PM

Oops... sorry I didn't respond quickly. I was just watching the Hawks go up 27 - 0.

seattle 10-11-2009 3:24 PM

I'm just gonna have to sign off here for the remainder of the game. My Hawks are just scoring too often to post.

OBTW,

It's 34 - 0 now.

Good for the Seahawks, not they're a little better than cleveland. baahaha.

They did pisspound JAX... I honestly thought it would be a GOOD game, with Jax barely winning, but wowza.

on another note;
Favre 5-0!

seattle 10-11-2009 5:27 PM

It was a fun watching Seattle football this weekend that's for sure. Huskies amazing win and then the Hawks going off today. With Matt back the attitude is of the entire team is completely different. I see an easy win over Az this coming week.

Love it that San Fran got shut down.

Dave,

Stay brave and just keep forcing the pain of your latest loss way down deep inside. Oh, and remember it's ok to cry.

Good times going back and forth today Nick.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!!

Jeff, that's gotta sting if you actually sat Nate and Roddy White

side note; stoked to get my free haircut from Great clips cause the Defense scored! Yeah baby!

jefefitz 10-11-2009 10:14 PM

yes it does, and to top it off i lost by 1.5 points on the late, meaningless adam viniaterri kick. i had chris johnson and got to watch as lyndale racked up yards late in the game while viniaterri kicked that fg.

skull 10-12-2009 5:55 AM

The Cowboys are HORRIBLE... they almost screwed up their specialty- barely beating a winless team!

The Eagles are going to lift their leg and urinate all over the Cowboys!

polarbill 10-12-2009 9:36 AM

I went to the Husky game and left with 4:30 left. I am an idiot. I redeemed myself by going to the Seahawk game Sunday and watched them clown stomp the Jags. I was impressed with the play of Matt but was at least as impressed with the D. Holy hell they were causing pure chaos.

dlamont 10-12-2009 11:30 AM

I can't wait to see what the Hawk will do once Leroy Hill and Trufant get back. Curry was a beast out there yesterday.
BTW Locker is the best QB in college right now, unreal.

gwnkids 10-13-2009 2:52 PM

So whats up with Rush Limbaugh?

He wants to buy one of the bottom teams and players say they will not play for him??

I still see guys playing for Al Davis, Jerry (insert) Jones, But not Rush. I thought he apologized for the Bl--- comment and lost his broadcast job.

If he has the $$ and can bring back a once (LA) competitive team let him at it.

sidekicknicholas 10-14-2009 10:16 AM

I may try and pick up Hassleback for my Qb this week.... how is that for admitting I was wrong Cliff

zo1 10-14-2009 10:39 AM

So whats up with Rush Limbaugh?

Friggin PATHETIC. First of all most of these owners likely think and say A LOT worse that Rush not to mention the fact that they have stepped on people all along the way to get enough $$ to own an NFL team. Only difference is they are not entertainers and their opinions are not well known.

So they will support Michael Vick, a convicted felon and animal murderer, people who beat their wives et al, but would not support Rush.

FYI, I think that Rush is a douchebag but if he wants to buy a team and has the $$, have at it.

dlamont 10-14-2009 11:01 AM

I was listening to the Herd on ESPN about Rush getting a team and he has some pretty interesting points.
Over 250 players were arrested last year, most crimes were DUIs, assault, and domestic violence. All these players got a slap on the wrist and were allowed to play in the NFL.

But Rush can't own a team?!?!

Nick, picking up Hasselbeck is probably a good choice. Even Matt Schaub threw for 371 yards last week on the Cards.

sidekicknicholas 10-14-2009 12:33 PM

^ thats my logic...AZ pass D has been awful.

polarbill 10-14-2009 12:41 PM

Isn't Rush only looking to be a minority owner? Something like 6%.

polarbill 10-19-2009 8:20 AM

Wow, I found out I was going to the Hawk game about 2 hours before the game. I kind of wish I didn't go though. Seahawk fans are pathetic. Most of them don't even give a crap if the Hawks win or lose. It is just a social event to get all dressed up for and hang out with your friends. I am sick of having good human beings on the team. I want straight up thugs who want to bury the opponent.

dlamont 10-19-2009 10:27 AM

don't worry Brett if they keep losing like this only true Hawk fans will be left at the games. By the looks of yesterday that should be pretty soon. What a let down after last week.

sidekicknicholas 10-19-2009 10:46 AM

Brett Favre, 6-0.... the steelers - vikes will be an awesome game

dukeno1 10-25-2009 8:22 PM

I know he is/was/has been a great player. I used to really like the guy and always felt like he would have looked good in Black and Gold. But...with all of the crap with him retiring and un-retiring and waffling and so on and so forth I have grown tired of him. His going to one of his old teams' arch rivals was just a little too much for me. I know it's a business and all that but I can't imagine Terry Bradshaw finishing up his career in Cleveland or Cincy.
He is having a great year but I was glad to see him go down today!

airrantz 10-25-2009 9:09 PM

Man it's gonna be a bummer for you when Bill Cowher comes back to coach the Browns. Haha jk. As for Farve I can't blame him too much for going to the Vikings to show Ted Thompson twice a year that he can still throw it all over the field. I can't blame the Packers either for choosing to move on though. I think he's really just trying to make sure that Peyton Manning doesn't break all his records.

dukeno1 10-25-2009 9:52 PM

Brett Favre 40years old ...1 superbowl victory

Big Ben 27 Years old...2 Superbowl Victories

Head 2 head
Ben 1 Brett 0

Big Ben > Brett

Go Steelers
Go Packers next week!

dukeno1 10-25-2009 9:54 PM

Nah Ryan,

Cowher will be coaching the Panthers next season as I predicted when he originally retired. Every week Jake Delhomme drives another nail in the John Fox coffin!

deuce 10-26-2009 6:03 AM

I also wanted to express my pleasure in Jay Cutler being 3-3. Though this should not be a surprise to anyone, he has ALWAYS been a .500 QB at best. Million Dollar Arm......$.50 Head....

Think that is the exact same record the Bears had last year with Orton.

Orton is 6-0 with the Broncos....has thrown for 1464 yards 9 TD's-1 INT, as opposed to the weak chinned one, who is 1452 11-10..... NICE!

airrantz 10-26-2009 9:09 AM

Someone else is gonna be coaching the Panthers next season that's for sure. I can't believe they tried throwing the ball all over the field versus the Bills rather than run it down their throats with DeAngelo and J-Stew. Cowher would be a perfect fit with that running game.

mjfan23 10-26-2009 9:22 AM

Tim. Haha, not a vikings fan or anything just cant stand dem Steelers. But then again not to many people in cincy can.

dukeno1 10-26-2009 4:19 PM

I hear you Eric....they have their share of haters. For me its New England and Dallas and of course Baltimore.
Can't standz em'

I am looking forward to that Bengal game in a couple of weeks. We need some payback!

dlamont 10-27-2009 6:12 PM

Why didn't the Vikes just keep running the ball at that point? They gave the game away. Give it to your best player an that's not Favre.

Give it to your best player an that's not Favre.<!-/quote-!>

Did you watch the game? Yes, Peterson is a MONSTER, but take away his 19 yard run and he was 18 for 50. Three and punt isn't going to win you a lot of ball games....

The Steelers made a conscious effort to stop the run and make Brett Favre and the receivers beat them.

Chester Taylor catches that ball on the 25 going in with a minute to play....and the Vikings get to overtime at worst.

ord27 10-27-2009 7:55 PM

Cowher is going to be coaching the Dallas Cowboys

1) Jerry has the money to pay him very well

2) Most of the talent is already in place

3) There is a Super Bowl coming to town and Cowher could coach his own team in their own stadium

4) there just might not be a salary cap for players, and you know Jerry will pay for the best

dlamont 10-28-2009 10:31 AM

EJ,
doesn't look like you were watching. It was 2nd & 3 on the 19 yard line, with 1:19 to go. Hand the ball to AP and let him get the 1st down. I'd rather go into overtime and take my chances.

Off topic, but why ae running backs allowed to face mask, where if the defense had their hand the same way on the running back, it would be 15 yards?

behindtheboat 11-03-2009 12:55 PM

They're not supposed to be able to "grab", but can put the hand in the face which most defenders are not allowed to do. Messed up but offensive games are exciting games
