Im looking to upgrade my alternator and the shop Ive been talking to wants the numbers off the back. The problem is all my numbers have been corroded off. I was wondering if anyone has a model number? Or if they could look on the back of theres. <BR> <BR>The motor is a black scorpion mercruiser motor. 5.7

That seems like a good price , Make sure you upgrade your charging wire from your new alternator. I was stranded at the sand bar in havasu a couple years back because my stock wire was undersized and fried. Good luck !
