Hello again. Well, my first board should be on it's way. Too bad I can't ride until later next year, but I'm pumped. Anyway, about towers. My grandpa has a Glasstron boat. I'm not exactly sure of the model, but it's not a professional wakeboarding boat or anything. I've heard people say good things about towers, but they are quite expensive. However, I was just looking at them, and I had a thought.... my grandpa's boat has a canopy-type thing that I noticed looked a bit like a tower. So, my question is, is it possibly to open it up and somehow tie the line to it? Or would that be a bad idea? I don't know how sturdy it is or anything, but it just got me thinking.

it sounds like you're talking about a bimini top. If that's what it is forget it, if not that do pull ups on it, is it perfectly sturdy when you do them?
