I was wondering whats te best way to weight this boat to get a nice transition and a big lip.. now its really rampy i cant figure out how to get it more lippy

usually more weight in the back. From a couple other posts you want about a 60/40 ratio rear/front.

600 on each side of the engine......Ski locker filled, and 600 in the walkway directly between the driver and passenger on top of the ski locker........... not all the way in the nose. That is how they used to weight the PWT boat back then. <BR> <BR> <BR>I run only 500 in the rear, 400 in ski locker, 400 in the nose all the way up because I like the hard rampy style a little better.

here's how i weight mine. plus 3 or 4 people in there. i have a jump seat so you can fit 3 people nicely right across the middle. ride at 85' at 26-27, and the wake is awesome. <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/518562.jpg" alt="1">

currently my boat has 460 on eash side in the back, 280 of lead under the back seat, 370 in the center, and 280 of lead in the nose.

is your 370 center sac the factory KGB? if it's not, and you can move it i would put that as far forward as possible. try and get a 50/50 to 60/40 rear to front ratio. i forgot to mention that i have 2 60 lb tubs of lead that i move to where ever's needed to balance the boat out. <BR> <BR>i plan on up grading to all of pro x series sacs next season. 750 on each side of the engine a 750 behind the driver, 370 center ski locker, the integrated bow sac and the big 1200 lb open bow sac. probably also get two 250 side sacs...they are nice and easy to move around to anywhere needed. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by ironj32 on November 10, 2007)

sounds like you might just need more weight period. Here is how we run my friends X-1. <BR> <BR>Rear-Fly High 750s, not quite full, probably around 600 <BR> <BR>Center-Stock, probably 300 <BR> <BR>Walkway- 400 <BR> <BR>Nose- Integrated bow sack, probably 300 <BR> 600 in lead all in the bow <BR> <BR>Misc-100 in lead to move around the cabin <BR> <BR>We've found this set up to work pretty well. The wake is big and firm with a good kick. Noticed a huge difference once we added the additional sac to the walkway in the bow. The 205 hull likes bow weight.

Thanks for the help guys i went out and rode today with 604 in each rear compartment 280 across the back seat 370 in the locker 450 in the walk way and 300 in the nose and it was sick im going to add a little more lead all around though...

add more to the bow. it'll make the wake harder.

I run 400lb flyhighs in back KGB belly sac and 600lbs of popbags under bow cushions, plenty big for me.
