Okay changed my mind on Shaver Lake, so how about Rollins lake. Anyone been there lately? Can you tell me about it.

I am going to Bullards Bar in July, but want to plan something in August as well. Thank you in advance.

Pretty lake, but small. Nice green/emerald water, lots of trees, etc. Full on mad house on the weekends from what I understand, though. Probably okay mid-week, mid-summer but not sure. My profile pic is from Rollins.

Brannon:
BCH hit it square on the head. Emrald green not effected much by varying water levels. Only good riding is early am or right before dark. Great place to camp close to boat, great dock with slide for young kids. very small lake. good beach for daytime to hang out on with kids.
Rick

was just there a few days ago on sunday. it was a zoo. some friggin idiots were wakesurfing up the arm that goes to the river, the only spot on the lake to find smooth water. so frustrating.

on a weekday its awesome. theres one boat launch off of 80 that charges 12 bucks to get in though so thats a rip, i havent found the other 2 boat launches yet, but i assume they are off of 174.

Weekends are going to get worst at Rollins and Bullards once they close Folsom (5 MPH restriction) Early July. I may have to take days off in the middle of the week just to get my fix.
