All I know is that Jimmy won with a heel side 9. I don't know anything about the AM. I will post any more news as I get it. As you know, its like getting news from the Middle East or something!

whoa.. De Ja Vu... lol I woulda thought it woulda been some kinda insane thing like a Double somthing or a 10 or KGB 5, Crow 7 or somethin. Congrats to Jimmy though! he's set on gas for at least a week!
Correction, Jimmy did switch heel 9

Kevin did a back side 7
Anyone know how Rusty rode?
Doesn't really matter how good it looked- with that much money to win any 9, other then backside, shouldn't win a double up contest. No one should have won if it was just another trick that many people throw as their double up in a regular comp. run. Hell, Scott Hopkins threw one in a local college(I think) comp... switch or not doesn't matter to me.
Paul...consistency is the key here. Being able to throw multiple switch heel nines along with backside 7s, in three seperate heats, against the best in the world, at a competition like Bro Stock and in front of all the fans, cameras and fellow competiters is pretty amazing!! Obviously amazing enough to take home the $$$
i agree with paul boring! In a comp like that in the finals either you land it and win or fall should be the riders mindset going into it. winning on a trick you land in your normal comp run is a wack way to win a double up contest.
The smart mindset going into a double up contest walked away with 20 Gs.
Congratulations Jimmy, you are on fire!!!
See you in Portland
broooostock was siiiiiiiiiiiiiick.. oh chris williams won the am contest with a kgb and a wrapped toe off 5 i think.. i dont know which trick they judged cause we got a toeside double up and a heelside double up
