So I was gifted this buoy last night...not sure what to do with it, suggestions? I dont live on the water, so that narrows down my options :)

Why did someone give you a buoy?! Lol use it as a beer holder!

wakedaveup 12-26-2013 8:26 AM

pool stick holder if you have a pool table. Or fabricate it into a beer tap that sits on top of a keg haha

Sit down on it real hard, it will get you prepared for Obamacare's changes in 2014

Dman726749 12-26-2013 9:23 AM

haha its really tall...like 5 ft tall, so sitting onto of something would just make it bigger......and dont have a pool table

Use it as your anchor float on the lake.

Trim it down, weight it, put a table top, bar table in your man cave

Stencil "no tubing withing 500 yards" on it then put it out on you favorite cove

stencil boat parking only and integrate it into your front or rear landscaping. conversation item to say the least and the price is right. don't know where you live but if it's destroyed in 5years from heat/cold, no loss as the price was right.

call the local marina and try to exchange for a tank of gas or a new comp vest.

my 2 ideas..

exchange for $ (could not have been cheap)
I also like the landscape idea... (put a red solar light on it and put it on the right side of your driveway????)

MIKEnNC 01-07-2014 1:37 PM

set it down in your driveway and anchor it in front of your boat trailer and run a rope from it to your boat in case of a flood,,,,,,, jk man, gotta be the most random gift ever

my brother has a friend that buys cargo containers that were never picked up, and sells the contents on craigslisth (storage wars style) He could not sell the bouy here in indy, so basically gave my brother a $300 bouy (looked this one up) so not alot of money has been spent.

its still sitting in my garage

So much win.

Stencil "Big Wake" on it and make it a table, bolt an old wakeboard or 2(cut flat on one side), you could fill it with sand to give it some heft and stability
