11 year old died at Princes, England :(
 

King of Cable was taking place at Princes while on a separate stretch of water a banana boat was out with a group of kids.

It seems like the boat did a sharp turn and somehow after she fell off, the girl was hit by the boat.

RIP Marie Simon Cronje...

Wakeboarding is a minority sport in England at the best of times and Princes is one of the biggest centres for it, and it remains closed while an investigation takes place. The thoughts of all of us are with Marie's family and friends while they try to come to terms with their loss.

Probably from South Africa. All South African names. Police will treat it like a murder.

I didn't hear any south african accents. Was quite a shock and incredibly sad. Deepest sympathy's to the family.

My local club, a real tragedy...

That's so sad... Such an amazing sport, and it's terrible when you hear about accidents like this surrounding it.
