I was excited when Trevor told me he was doing this trick again http://trevorhansen.com/2009/09/trevor-double-roll/

What are some tricks you guys would want to see riders doing again? Maybe we could get some new variations from the old tricks.

trdon 09-11-2009 7:01 PM

Fashon air off the double up

/thread

pucktowake 09-11-2009 8:03 PM

That would be alot of fashion

brodie_chaboya 09-11-2009 9:15 PM

The trick I wanna see again is Randals "Remix" He used to do a wrapped front mobe, grabbed mute off the dub and it was so sick. Bring that one back for sure. There are a few vids he does it in.

waterdork88 09-11-2009 9:51 PM

That double was sick, I havent seen a dum dum 5 in ages, wrapped kgb 5, speedball, and double half cab roll are some great oldies

hsryan33 09-12-2009 9:11 AM

where did you last see the dum dum 5? i dont think ive seen it

greg_smith 09-12-2009 9:49 AM

Yea never saw the dum dum 5! Where can we see it? Oh, bring back the temper tantrum. Never could find that one either.

brinks 09-12-2009 11:01 AM

Double flips are going to be the new 1080. Just watch and see what goes down this next year.

waterdork88 09-12-2009 7:40 PM

I saw it on the Ripley's Believe It or Not episode that featured Phil Soven. It was crazy to watch but I havent seen it in ages. Wish there was a link to it

srh00z 09-12-2009 9:49 PM

A dum dum 5 would be sick. The double half cab has always been a favorite of mine. I have always wanted to see a temper tantrum and I wish there was better footage of the double back mobe that Parks has done.

duffmangt 09-12-2009 10:13 PM

ive never seen a temper tantrum and would love to! link??

jsweat 09-13-2009 8:13 AM

Parks has thrown a few temper tantrums in movies from back in the day i think he threw on in the faction or shafted.

the_bum 09-13-2009 11:10 AM

Fruitloops!!!

shredsickgnar 09-13-2009 11:22 AM

I tried to bring temper tantrums back a couple years ago.
Here's the only to attempts I got on video, one was ok one not so good.

http://www.wakepics.com/video/21414/3-tricks

http://www.youtube.com/user/shredsickgnar#play/all/uploads-all/1/TUnSk7KU23k

andy_nintzel 09-13-2009 7:35 PM

ORBITALSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! Coolest trick ever

sideswipeproductions 09-13-2009 7:37 PM

Double flips are the new black. Everyone wants one right now.

pucktowake 09-13-2009 9:09 PM

I believe that parks does a temper tantrum in the movie that is in wakeboarding unleashed or its someone else but pretty sure its him.

srh00z 09-13-2009 9:40 PM

I think that is a double half cab in wakeboarding unleashed. The second flip in his double half cab is a Tantrum type rotation whereas the first flip looks more like a roll.

juniorhawk 09-14-2009 4:07 AM

I never saw anything wrong with the blender. Now with wrapped tricks back in vogue, they can come back.

andy_nintzel 09-14-2009 5:26 AM

By Nick Haisch (shredsickgnar) on Sunday, September 13, 2009 - 11:22 am:

That Face Slam on the Wakepics Video is HARDCORE man!

buffalow 09-14-2009 8:14 AM

Robby Struharik used to do a gigantic roll to revert with nose grab and than at the last second before landing switched back to regular. It was like the sickest "simple" trick with a super long grab. I'll see if I can dissect one of my old videos and toss it up here.

Also, love a LEGIT elpehant. Not a front roll with a tiny tweak. Like necrassen style or even shaprio's.

andy_nintzel 09-14-2009 8:16 AM

Jason,

I do those all the time, the big joke around my crew is we call it a Nose Grab Roll-ephant! But I have to admit I striaght stole it from Robby Stru

eubanks01 09-14-2009 9:15 AM

Free 4 All has a sick overhead view of that trick from Struharik.

srh00z 09-14-2009 9:20 AM

I love Necrason's Elephants. He takes them way out into the flats. I am also a big fan of wrapped tricks, we have been seeing more of those lately. Shane's last trick was wrapped and Rathy's BS 10's were wrapped.

hayes 09-14-2009 9:43 AM

Hasselhoff!! (front flip to blind) No one can do this better than Shapiro. He use to take them so big and into the flats.

andy_nintzel 09-14-2009 10:28 AM

The Yo Yo 1080!!!!! Triple Wrap the Rope and Hit the wake! Unwrap Yo Yo style!!!

Okay I totally made that up

anthemwake 09-14-2009 10:29 AM

^^^Correction: No one can do Hasselhoffs better than Thomas Horrell.

(Message edited by anthemwake on September 14, 2009)

jarrod 09-14-2009 10:33 AM

I thought the Hasselhoff was Switch Front to blind.

I agree that Shapiro rules that one......still

behindtheboat 09-14-2009 10:35 AM

it is. and a switch Slim is a Fat.

jason_ssr 09-14-2009 10:55 AM

haha, Andy, that rollephant name is from the old INT trick list. When sending rolls into the flats, I used to load up so hard that it would throw me alost to revert every time so I always had to pull it back. I got clowned for it a little back then and while I called it a shifty roll, the guys I rode with called it a rollephant. So we are all out riding a tournament in the mid\late 90's and I throw it in the tournament. Back then it was on a points system and INT was still building their trick list. So every time someone did a trick they didnt know, they would ask what it was, give it a point value, and add it to the master list. Unfortunately, they asked some of my friends and, clowning me, they told em it was a rollephant. From then on, I would see it on points lists and laugh.

andy_nintzel 09-14-2009 11:39 AM

Jason,

Great story man. I due think that's where my buddies got the name from. Being in the game the last 15 years I loved watching the INT trick list grow every year. I figured them out one day like 5 years ago we had a little friendly "rewind" contest as we called it. We tried to do as many tricks as we could Elephant Style and rewind the landing before we stuck it down. It was super Fun, kinda cool to see how many trick you can rewind like and elephant, TS OA FS 540 to 360, TS Backroll To revert/rego, TS HS 5 to 3. Man I remember trying crazy isht like a Kypt back to rego and getting just owned that day.

buffalow 09-14-2009 12:19 PM

Like a Front Roll/Scarecrow - Frow or Scare-Roll.

How 'bout Shapiro's Iron Cross???

jason_ssr 09-14-2009 1:51 PM

Andy, that sounds fun!! For the record, Mine didnt look near as cool as Stru made it. Back then, on my skinny Lavelle boards, you had to come in hot in order to go big on the outside. So mine were all overloaded and blown way out the back. I'm 6'6", so it looked like a bunch of knees and elbows going every which way.

petew 09-14-2009 2:46 PM

i had a kneeboard instructional video cant remeber the name. but it had a couple of pro rider sections before the instructional bits in which one of the guys did a 1080! only kneeboarder to be able to do a 1080 apparently! he was double or maybe even triple wrapped he was also on a trick release for saftey so yeah like a yo yo hahahahaha.

Disclamer: the only times iv been on a kneeboards was for kneeboard battles. i have no idea why i had an instructional video.

petew 09-14-2009 2:56 PM

Dont worry guys found the footage! last trick in the clip!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJrVufQ-6CY

wakeworld 09-14-2009 3:29 PM

Slowball!

anthemwake 09-14-2009 4:27 PM

^^^HAHAHA YES.

mckenna 09-14-2009 5:38 PM

s bends.
313
elephant

hayes 09-14-2009 5:57 PM

90210!

hsryan33 09-14-2009 9:30 PM

shapiros iron cross is basically a wrapped up moby dick. if he grabbed it, it would be the same as shane melon wrapped bs oa 7. iron crooss is a sick trick but would be rad if it was grabbed mute

ralph 09-14-2009 9:50 PM

The nice thing about the iron cross is how the body opens up starfish style off the wake, grabbing it would totally spoil the effect IMO.

wakebrdr38 09-15-2009 4:30 PM

I forgot what it is called, but I did one on accident once, it is basically a half whirly bird. Or a tantrum to blind with the backside 180 ole style. Someone told me that a pro (i think shane) use to do them

waterdork88 09-15-2009 5:19 PM

3:14 sean o'brien
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXWa33tUdhU&feature=fvw

wakeboardlf25 09-15-2009 5:28 PM

the half whirly is called a crook

andy_nintzel 09-16-2009 6:42 AM

ANy body else Catcht that HS Osmosis 7 in the Sean O'brien Video???? RAD its at about 3:31

eubanks01 09-16-2009 7:50 AM

How about big mute front to fakies...Mayday Gator style!

wakebrdr38 09-16-2009 10:44 AM

yes! Thank you, that has been driving me nuts that I could not remember the name of that trick!

hawk7 09-17-2009 8:34 PM

Osmosis Spins! The 90210! haha, I would like to see the s-bend to blind kinda thing more often. it seems like not to many people like them, but i was watching nick davies do some pretty cool stuff.
Blind petes would be cool, and does anyone know why soven no longer does whirlydicks?

looks like walt beat me to the 90210

(Message edited by hawk7 on September 17, 2009)

buffalow 09-18-2009 8:11 AM

How bout the cock and balls? Maybe somebody could figure out a grab or take it another half rotation

hawk7 09-19-2009 8:23 PM

Isn't that just zane schwenk's nickname for the moby dick? If so I believe i've seen danny do a moby dick 5.
