Looking for a Sub Box for an Axis A22

I'm looking for a custom sub box to put under the dash of my 2012 Axis A22. It has the footwell wetsounds sub in there right now but doesn't sound that good becasue it is just open air. So i'm looking for options for a sub box. Does anyone know who can make be one and how much it will cost??? Also if you have pictures of yours that would be great!!

go to the axis wake forum, http://www.axiswakeboardboats.com/viewforum.php?f=15

you can find multiple threads regarding footwell boxes. There are a lot of cool options already for this somewhat new boat.

First of seriously gorgeous boat dude.

Wetsounds has the specs on their website for their subs and recommended enclosures. If it were me I'd look for a WS distributor in your area and have them build you a box or if your have some experience in it yourself depending on which type of enclosure you are wanting (sealed, bass reflex) they're pretty easy. As anonother option some of the stereo shops that frequent the board can likely build and send you one just knowing the sub, amp and boat as they have likely done it several times before.

Bryan, a stereo shop in Barrington built a box for our buddy Tim's boat a couple years back and it BUMPED. It was under the dash of his VLX, I think it was a JL W3. I'll give Tim a shout and see who he used.

Scream Marine in Dallas, TX can ship you a box several Axis owners have been satisfied with. I went with Earmark Marine out of the Dallas area building me a custom reflex enclosure and it sounds incredible...deep and clean. I'm fortunate to live just a couple hours away from both marine audio shops I mentioned so I just dropped off my boat for a week. My enclosure is ported (rectangular shaped port) not sealed.

Yes, Tim at scream marine built mine for me in the spring. It had great sound. I put a 12" DB Drive sub in it and had very good sound.Good Luck!!!

I pulled the drivers footwell & bought a prefab ported box covered in bed liner 2 put down there but due to space constraints it hangs out the opening about an inch. I had some plexiglass laying around so I cut a trim panel around the sub & painted the backside of it black. Looks pretty decent for $50 & sounds 100% better than the sub in the observers compartment.
