I meant to say 90's sport naut. over an 89 "SN2001" or Excel

An excel with a vdrive will have more rear weight...with any of them you'll want to add ballast to them dd or vdrive.

90 Sport Nautique base options is 2525 dry.

89 2001 base options is 2340 dry.

Does that include trailer? If not, how much trailer weigh?

That does not include the trailer, fuel, etc; hence "dry weight."

I typically add 1000-1500 lbs depending on the trailer. (# of axles, size, etc)

Excel is 3000 dry, probably close to 5000 with a trailer, gear and fuel. Barefoots are a couple hundred more with the BBC.
