You might try one of these methods: <BR> You can cut a hole in the side of the pipe and use a carriage bolt with a big washer .An other way would be, using a drywall fastener. You just need to drill a hole in the underside of the pipe. Just insert the screw from the underside, the drywall screw has some spring loaded brackets on the end, which will open up inside the pipe so you can tighten the screw in place.

attatch the saw horses with a wood beam( best bet would be a 2x6) and then screw the pvc to that. lay the pvc on it and drill holes on the top( the part that you would be sliding) so you can get a drill bit in to screw the pvc down. or you could try gettin pvc sheets and just make it flat instead of round like a pipe

im thinking of making a slider while the water is down, can you get pvc sheeting at lowes or home depot?

you can look for a product called trex, which is made for docks and decks. i have found it at home depot before. or you can go to a local docking supply company.
