Use paint thinner and an old rag to dissolve the excess glue, wipe with a clean cloth and then you'll have a nice surface to stick the grip to.

get creative with your grip job. Dont just use the stock black grip make a sweet pattern or something. just make it original. foe ex. i used green grip and cut it into strips and made green and black stripes on the board. the black is the small sections between the pieces of grip. turned out sweet and is super sticky.

i have the '06 melissa and was thinking about bright blue tape w/ a huge DC logo in there somewhere. you guys have any other creative ideas for me?

Is DC paying you to advertise for them.?....do something that actually means something to you, something personal.

do like blue tape with pink polka dots. that would be sick. take some time to do but would turn out sweet.

get white and use paint pens to color it <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0>

or you can take the regualr black grip, and cut patterns into it, and put it together like a puzzle sort of
