Saw an Epic tonight when we were coming back from dinner, and so we stopped and checked it out. Grey/charcol colored. Wasn't able to look it over real close as it was late and both of us had to get going. I will say I liked the looks of the boat much more in real life, and was super impressed with the apparent quality. When I'm in the market for a wakeboard boat again, they are high on my list. Thanks RC...That boat turned out great and will be a great boat for someone once we get done shooting some video with it for the next couple of weeks. Jonny...I think our service will be great on these boats as I have spent a lot of time making them very user friendly and maintainable and when they do need some "professional help" they are built very open and easy to get at "stuff". We are using the Volvo 8.1l engines in all these as well. I think most know how great Volvo has done with their customer service reputation in the I/O market, now it is their turn to impress the Inboard market <IMG SRC="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" ALT=":-)" BORDER=0> And it is just cool to hear that people are seeing our boats and liking what they see. It has been a long road and we aren't really cranking out boats yet, but we are only a few weeks away now from really pulling the trigger on our ACTUAL production boats. There are a lot of changes (most from rider suggestions) that serve to make the 23v that much better than the pre-production boats people are reporting on now. And I think I will probably just crap myself the first time I am on the highway and see some random Epic owner with one of my creations on the back of their truck <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/proud.gif" border=0> I should probably keep some kind of Epic Prize in my truck for just that occasion, huh?

Since I saw the boat on the trailer, I can't really say much for wake or performance of that kind of stuff which most people really care about. However, there were a couple details that stuck out in mind which I thought of after my first post. First of all, the tower was killer! It was a nice flashy setup with a sweet looking mirror arm and racks. Also, the cover (this is gonna sound weird) really impressed me. Most covers I see are ok for hauling but after awhile would start to work loose and beat themselves up. This one was super tight and appeared to be very strong. Even the people I was with that night commented afterwards about what a nice cover it was. Small things, yes, but when you are paying this kind of bank for a boat, I suppose the details are important. <BR> <BR>Matt, if you've been out behind one for a week, I sure hope you snapped some pics.<img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/happy.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>Chris, do you have any handle yet on what the back order time is for a boat?
