Maximum Garage

I don't think I can be beaten. This is as bad as it has been in a very long time and I don't care. I'm going the Fort Lauderdale Boat show and a few haunted houses this weekend. Beer fridge is stocked up. Zombie-Con is next weekend. This crap-heap may actually grow a bit before being shoveled out! Still wearing my "don't care face" Besides, I think I'm over due for a tetanus shot...
Anybody have one more loved? I think not.
:D

Wakeboards on the cement floor while your kneeboards lean against a wall, have another bud heavy.

newty 10-24-2013 4:06 PM

The boards appear to be protected from the concrete by a thick layer of dust.

acurtis_ttu 10-25-2013 6:19 AM

impressive

psudy 10-25-2013 7:46 AM

Did Moose move in?

eubanks01 10-25-2013 8:47 AM

Impressive indeed. My parents garage would put this to shame but I'm a bit embarrassed to take a pic and post it!

A garage full of junk is a familiar scene for me. :)

Less than $100 in storage racks and your problem is maybe, a third solved. Just move.

phathom 10-28-2013 2:19 PM

I just spent a few hours this weekend cleaning mine out some, so it actually looks halfway decent. You know my garage actually has a floor?! Before I did that, mine was a bigger mess than that. About the same amount of stuff, but in a single car garage. It takes some time and is overwhelming, but just dig in and get going. The progress will inspire you to keep going.

$50 in garbage cans would solve at least half!!

Bait, at least you realize it's rough. There's probably a lot more people out there with twice the mess and they think it's normal, even though they don't see the same thing when all the neighbors have their doors open.

I would' be able to sleep at night.

Never did find Snorks bong...

Four full trash cans and a pick up truck full of wood, drywall, etc. etc.

Better, but I could probably still throw away 1/2 again as much. It is tough though. There is a full wood shop and mechanical shop in here as well as the toys.
Do you like the oil on canvass over my wood bench? it was a wedding present..

grant_west 10-30-2013 12:43 PM

Nice job. If more people would simply do what you did "self storage" places would be struggling. Never ceases to amaze me the amount of people that will pay to store their crap because they're too "insert your expletive" to clean out their garage and throwaway or better yet craigslist items they're never going to use anyways. Keeping a clean clutter free garage is no easy task but well worth the effort in my opinion. It also has to be a Way of life. No use you cleaning out the garage only to have your significant other fill it back up.

ttrigo 10-30-2013 1:17 PM

I dont get why people dont use their garages for cars anymore. It kills me how many people in my immediate and surrounding neighborhoods park their $50k ++ cars out on the street or in the driveways. Its ridiculous.

baitkiller 10-30-2013 2:25 PM

My son parks his car in the garage. Its the yellow one.

ttrigo 10-31-2013 1:23 PM

Haha. At least yours looks to be somewhat of a workshop! I see so many in my neighborhood just filled with boxes of crap, and old toys, bikes, etc that dont ever move.

psudy 10-31-2013 1:36 PM

Hey! I resemble that remark!!
