WOW!!! i remember the intense rain storm that dallas had 3-4 years ago what was it like 48 days of straight rain...

pierce_bronkite 08-13-2006 10:16 PM

Eubanks, is that Lavon?

eubanks01 08-14-2006 7:05 AM

Yep, most of the pics are from East Fork Park on Lake Lavon. Sad huh? So many surrounding cities pull from this lake. Most everyone has been on water restrictions for some time now, but obviously with no rain, the water levels continue to drop.

had to sell my boat because of the drought

our lift is completely dry and there's not a single servicable ramp left on my lake

(Message edited by jcv on August 14, 2006)

damn, i guess i should consider myself lucky i can still launch. (i'm 2 hours east of Dallas) I had to change lakes, but at least i can still get out there. here's a shot of where i ride now. Dallas water authorities are trying to build a lake in our area to supplement their water supply.

Anyone knows how Lake Medina (WNW of San Antonio) is doing as far as water levels go ?

souperfly 08-14-2006 10:10 AM

Last time I was out there you could still launch at a couple ramps. Its getting low too though. If you launch out of Reds Cove you better have a 4x4 and a prop guard!

innov8 08-15-2006 8:25 AM

No problems on Lake Granbury, we are only down a foot and all ramps are good and all the lake is open to riding.

jrhurst 08-15-2006 12:05 PM

yeah ,, but just stay towards the south end of the lake , near the dam for the best ridin

Dude that is a sick boat in the first pic. Is that what yall are riding behind with the lake so low???

eubanks01 08-15-2006 1:22 PM

No, we prefer pontoon boats now with these water levels. The wake really isn't too bad.

tsteeb 08-15-2006 8:30 PM
