I'll probably buy a new board at the end of this season. I havent ridden CWB but like what i hear and read. All you CWB riders post up with your recomendations.

wally247 06-04-2007 1:28 PM

I bought an Absolute at the beginning of the year and I love it.

jarrod 06-04-2007 1:36 PM

The Platinum Transcend is is my favorite. It's the fastest big rocker board I have ridden.

But, I've ridden all of the CWBs. They're all great. Do some test riding and figure out the best one for you.

I ride the new Transcend; overall a great board. I wouldn't mind trying out the new Marius though, It looks pretty sick. Either way you can't go wrong with a CWB.

(Message edited by wakeslife on June 04, 2007)

I bought an Absolute and some faction bindings two weeks ago.Haven't ridden anything but a crappy O'brien board so I don't have much to compare it to, but it seems to have a ton of pop and speed.

pickle311 06-04-2007 5:55 PM

I'm lovin the Faction board

2007_x2 06-04-2007 5:56 PM

dude roll with the transcend platty i love it!

tuffenuff 06-04-2007 7:07 PM

I got my son an absolute platinum 134 w/Zeus bindings. 2 trips on the water and I'm more impressed with the new ride than he is. Two of his riding buddies rode it and luved it as well. Good Product!!

cwb_fooguitarlz 06-04-2007 7:21 PM

OBRIEN PLAYER!!!

rode the Absolute Plat 141 with the .5 fins, loose when you want but grips like no other when cutting into the wake, has good release and spins super easy, rocking Fuse bindings, feel like snowboard boots (excellent)

gdwakeman 06-04-2007 10:32 PM

love my bros absolute plat from 05

eustace 06-05-2007 4:55 AM

I went back to my 03 Absolute 140 (aka: Pure) this season after spending all last year on a 3DS. The CWB is so much fun to ride.

eric_ms 06-05-2007 7:00 AM

I love mine but there customer service is sub par.

aldrichiii 06-05-2007 7:08 AM

I bought a used 2005 Absolute 141 for this season and so far I'm loving it! I'm planning on taking the center fin out next time I'm out to give that try--from what I've read on the board a lot people ride it without the fins.

jarrod 06-05-2007 7:18 AM

No center fin is the ony way to ride an absolute. I think you'll like it much better.

wakebrdrnc 06-05-2007 7:25 AM

Had and Absolute Platty and now have an 07 Transcend. LOVIN IT!

innov8 06-05-2007 8:01 AM

Thats the fist time I have ever heard someone say CWB's Customer service is sub par, I have had nothing but the best of customer service as well as tons of riders on wakeworld.

eric_ms 06-05-2007 8:38 AM

That's what I have heard on wakeworld as well but I am just speaking from my experience in the last few weeks.

aubuchon03 06-05-2007 10:22 AM

Really it comes down to the rocker you like.

Transcend - if you like bucking kick- great for going big and serious cushion landings.

Marius - if you like continues rocker kick (more consistent). Serious pop into flats and landings are smooth. 08 will probably be a lot faster than 06-07.

07 Transcend, sick, sick board.

pottsy 06-05-2007 12:18 PM

I just purchased the Marius and I am really satisfied with it. Excellent pop!

mkperceptions 06-05-2007 12:21 PM

I have the kink with vapor bindings and it is pretty nice, THEN i tried out the transcend and man does that board ride nice on the top of the water and loose untill you edge then it grips hard. You will be in love with the hing and the ride with the transcend is hard to beat

sledneck96 06-06-2007 10:09 AM

tcluv85 06-06-2007 10:52 AM

I have the Sapphire (AKA Pure, AKA older Absolute). Love it.

txnskr 06-07-2007 8:05 PM

Jarrod,

I only ride my abs platinum w/o the center fin. Much more fun!

06-07-2007 8:32 PM

any body need some 2005 CWB Zeus bindings to go with their board? PM me if interested

wristy_j 06-07-2007 9:23 PM

I'm really dying to try the Transcend. I'm picking up a board(s) tomorrow to demo on Saturday. I'm 6'0", 175, and an intermediate rider. What size should would you recomend going with? (I'm coming from a 142 Byerly)

Thanks!
J

fletch_tx 06-08-2007 12:42 AM

I wish they made the Transcend in a slightly smaller size....like a 135 or 136....I'm 5'7 150ish.

I currently have an 04 Absolute, but looking to get a new platty next week...love it!

dgunthert 06-08-2007 8:47 AM

I just picked up a brand new '07 Absolute 134/Faction combo yesterday. Got an absolutely smoking deal on it. Can't wait to get it on the water now that it's mine. I've demoed it several times and loved it.
