Axis A20 Music

Ok call me stupid, but I can't figure out how to play music off my Galaxy S3 on my Axis A20... It will play music from Iphones perfectly fine, but my phone never works. Is it even possible? Thanks!

No, the stereo won't recognize the droid OS. What I did was just get an adapter cable...headphone jack in to RCA cables...then run that in to the rear of the head unit. You will have to control track selection and stuff from your phone though, but at least it will be playing through your stereo and you can control volume there.

Is your GS3 rooted?

One minor annoyance about Samsung's android build is that they (for some unknown to me reason) eliminated UMS mode (usb mass storage). So when you plug a GS3 into a computer, it will show up and let you browse the entire filesystem.. but as a media player or camera - not as a flash drive. The stereos will recognize a flash drive.

If you're rooted - there's an easy fix. If you're on a Moto/HTC android, it'll work. It's just a Samsung thing.
