Says 4'4" on the deck but LF classifies a 4'2" or 4'6".

Is this deck going to be a little small for me? 6ft 180lbs.

I got it from a friend who doesn't need it and told me to check it out which I will, just looking for some input as well. I have been surfing for some time, but am not that good. Ride w/o rope and learning 360, but the board will also be a "boat" board for everyone mostly beginners. WE are debating, but pretty much everyone I have talked to recommends a Broadcast or a Phase 5 the bigger one can't recall if it was Icon or the Prop off hand. I ride the Broadcast all thi time, but its a buddies and I now need one of my own.

Our boat is a 2000 X-Star

It probably is a 4'4" -- and I think it's going to be on the small side for you and on the REALLY TOO small side for any beginner.

I have that board. It really isn't bad. I'm 5'9" and 180. You will probably like it better than the broadcast, but keep in mind it is more of a skim style board.

The 4'4" were made before the 'production' models went into production.

Just wanted to give an update.

The board has been great for me. Almost getting the 360 dialed. I like the fact the board weighs next to nothing. It has been great for me and I actually do like it better than the broadcast.
