i made some weights by taking some 4" pvc pipe and capping one end, then i filled it about 3/4 full with rebar then filled all the empty space with mortar and then capped the other end once it was dry. i sealed the caps on with pipe dope and silicone so the caps wouldn't allow any mortar or rust to come out and then i made handles just inside of either cap with some rope that i had lying around. They cost me about six bucks each to make and they weigh in at nearly 120 lbs (each one is 40" long) and since they are so narrow, they take up practically no room and i can put them on either side of the engine compartment in the rear lockers without taking up relatively any space and they are easily stacked. they take about thirty minutes to make and once they are done, they are easily moved to adjust the wake. i just thought i would share this little weighting ingenuity with everyone and see if anyone else has come up with any ideas for weighting that don't take up tons of space or break the bank. look forward to hearing some input!
