Peter Lik photography show on The Weather Channel
This premiered last night and was pretty cool. Sorry about no heads-up... I completely forgot about it until about 2 minutes before it started. It will be aired every Thur at 7PM CST... yes, on The Weather Channel. It was interesting. There is also an iPad App for it.
This show was on Hawaii's big island and had him shooting volcano's, lava, and other landscape stuff. It was neat watching Peter run around with his Mamiya and tripod. He was saying that the Mamiya only goes to ISO 400 so he couldn't get the shutter fast enough to shoot the lava entering the ocean from a boat in pretty rough seas. Seems like a 5D M2 would have been a better choice in that environment!
