Yo, guys the parks boot is the best in my opinion not only because i made it but also because its just an amazing boot.

nj_alex 01-13-2004 7:45 PM

What do you think? Is this really Parks checking-in or just some wakeworld prankster?

dococ 01-13-2004 8:07 PM

Hey "Parks," how about a quiz? Shall we find out how well you know yourself?

maestro 01-13-2004 9:12 PM

Wakeworld Pranksta - I got an email from him - also has a profile under the name "adam mishan" - funny huh...

As far as the CD bindings go - I had the AS01 and they were WAY too stiff for me. Hurt my legs they were so stiff. I like pokin' out grabs, and they wouldn't work for that at all.
i have been riding the CWB Zeus since they came out 7 months ago and i feel they are one of the top if nbot the best binding out there..i switched from 01 belmonts that i rode for about two years + all the while demoing and waiting for a new binding to come out..i didnt like the new belmonts in 02 early 03 since they kept breaking on everybody ,i also tried the temets and Parks in 03/04 models and didnt like those..

So i picked up some Zeus and the first timne i put them on i knew they were going to be a keeper..

i have four friends that have since switched into the zeus and feel the same way..

im sure there are a few other modsels that are good in others oppinions but this is what i feel are great bindings..

harryhog 01-16-2004 2:44 AM

what are the lf transits like?

p_b_parks 01-16-2004 10:20 AM

Adam, you just have to find the right boot for you, so you should do some demoing and get the boot that you like best

(Message edited by p_b parks on January 16, 2004)

shanny 01-16-2004 10:23 AM

Is that guy parks?

(Message edited by shanny on January 16, 2004)

teenhack 01-16-2004 7:11 PM

no... well in his dreams atleast...

shanny 01-17-2004 7:57 PM

are 04 torqs good
wakeskate247 01-17-2004 8:07 PM

an interesting fact is that adam mishan and "parks" share a common thing in there email address's, both are mishan@....., and honestly why would parks' email be mishan@SNOWBOAR D.com, so i have come to the conclusion that adam (who started this thread) and "parks" (who was the first to respond to this thread only six minutes after being started) are infact the same person.
PS. Adam next time give "parks"a different email address

teenhack 01-17-2004 8:09 PM

Lol, always easier when they make their own mistakes...

wakeskate247 01-17-2004 8:13 PM

haha, yea its great but hes 14, you cant expect him to think EVERYTHING out.

shanny 01-19-2004 5:04 AM

shirows 01-19-2004 5:06 AM

Personnaly,

I bought Belmont (2003) i don't try yet, but they are very confortable and i think it is a good binding.

iewc_vp 01-20-2004 4:41 PM

Transits are SICK!!! Just got them into my shop. These boots are gonna KILL it this year!!! So comfy!

harryhog 01-21-2004 3:35 AM

good, thats the first opinion of the transits that i've heard. how adjustable are they to different feet sizes, i've got fairly flat feet so need something quite adjustable, parks are real comfy but am sick of having to send parts back to the supplier.

cheers

Hey Wakewhore Tim Jewitt, what pro shop do you manage??

iewc_vp 01-21-2004 9:26 AM

Harry,

My feet are pretty flat and they fit me ohh so snug. They are a sized binding so they are not as adjustable as Splits, spins, and Evos. They have good support and are really easy to get in and out of. All this with the same insane lock down liquid force is known for. They hit a homerun with these.

iewc_vp 01-21-2004 9:28 AM

I manage the shop out at California Correct Craft, in Riverside.

harryhog 01-24-2004 9:23 AM

tim,

that sounds sweet, i've been using 3060's upto now, and was thinkin of upgrading, they sound good, i know gettin in dry is easy, but whats it like getting outa them when they're wet?
cheers

iewc_vp 01-24-2004 10:21 AM

It is still pretty easy. Not much differetn the normal EVA material. It is nothing like CD bindings where after your in, they become a permanant fixture on your feet!
