Great looking boat. Jimmy, Todd, Justin and everyone else at TXMC will definitely make your boat owning experience a good one. If you ever need someone to help you break that boat in, shoot me an email. I don't know where you normally ride, but I drive for Sasser's Wakeboarding School so know most of the good places to ride on Lewisville.

Andrew
amoreton@smu.edu

Andrew,
I agree with you about Jimmy and Todd, this is my 3rd MC from them ('97 Prostar 205, '03 X-Star, '06 X-45). All of them great boats. I ride on Ray Roberts, so if you are ever up there let me know.
Here's a pic after window tint and Wetsounds.

Looks even better with the tint and tower speakers. Never been to Ray Roberts, but would definitely be interested in going if you have room for a third any weekend.

Hey, if you can, throw some more pictures up. Those X-45's really intrigue me and I'd like to check yours out a bit more. Thanks.

summerobsession 06-13-2006 9:29 AM

How does your '06 handle?
I'm curious because of the two I took on a demo.
What power?
That is a beautiful boat, the more pics I see of the simple graphics, the better they look!

phatboypimp 06-13-2006 10:09 AM

That boat looks so clean. I really like the simplicity of the orange accents. Not a big fan of most of the MC color schemes of late.

zaner1 06-13-2006 11:46 AM

John, Handles about the same as my '03 X-STAR did, but you definately notice the difference in size. I've got the MCX in mine, but don't load it down a whole bunch. I do recommend if you are going to load the crap out of it, GET THE BIGGER ENGINE! A few more pics...

drewdown 06-13-2006 12:24 PM

Nice boat man, love the mastercrafts. Did yours come with the drivers side armrest stereo controls standard or optional?

Here is our new one X-30 (sorry for the hijack).

(Message edited by drewdown on June 13, 2006)

What percent tint on the winshield of the 45?

ktmwakeboarder 06-14-2006 3:07 AM

wow so hot

kbrowning 06-14-2006 5:08 AM

What power did you go with on your 45? I am planning to order an 07 for next season and have been told to go with the L18. Just curious of your experience. I currently own a 2002 x-star and am going to larger boat for some of the bigger water we encounter on the weekends. Also, what amount of lbs are you running to dial the wake? What, in your opinion is a fair out the door price on this unit? Thanks for the help.

summerobsession 06-14-2006 8:31 AM

That is certainly an awesome X45!
I drove two 45's on my demo last summer (one MCX, one big block) and they both would not turn under power at all. I was told they had that problem fixed, I was just wondering if your had that issue. If it wasn't for that, I would have ordered on '06, they are fantastic boats!
