Once again major kudos to Monster for the quick ship - ordered Monday afternoon, and the box rolled to my door Thrusday. Tower was on the boat before dark Thursday night and I rode 4 sessions on the morning of the Fourth before the lake really got too crowded.

Here are a few pics of the tower on the boat with the top down and up. I haven't tried it with my bimini yet...

http://members.tccoa.com/texastbird/Monster/MVC-517X.jpg
http://members.tccoa.com/texastbird/Monster/MVC-526X.jpg
http://members.tccoa.com/texastbird/Monster/MVC-536X.jpg

The tower looks great on the boat IMHO. Went together pretty smoothly. It got pulled sort of askew after my second set, but of course I brought the tools with me and after readjusting it and tightening the fasteners, it was good to go.

Directions for mounting the tower were okay. I really appreciated Monster bothering to include a little bag of hardware marked spare parts! Came in handy

I'm pretty pleased with the way the installation came out overall. The rear arms mounted on the horizantal gunwhale, which should be very strong and support the load really well. I think the black powerder coated tower looks great with he black windshield frame. Guess now I need a rack for my boards and trick ski...

(Message edited by texastbird on July 05, 2003)

Texas, tower looks really awesome.I like the teal on your boat, they don't make that color too much anymore.I can kind of tell what mine will someday look like.
Enjoy.

Texas, what is the diameter on the tubing?

Looks good by the way.

What lake is that?

Thanks guys. The Monster Tower is 2.5" tubing - very beefy! Here's the site www.monstertower.com The tower folds down for storage, and the front legs actually fold in and lay on the engine cover when it's down, so the cover can go on. Works really well for my purposes...

I wish I was in love with the teal stripes on the boat, but I think it looks very 1991. I was looking for a heavier boat that would throw a decent wake, and I found this one with 300 hrs for just under $12k, so I can live with the teal I need to get to work on some kind of ballast now!

The pics were taken at my brother in law's boathouse on Grapevine Lake. The cove is a no wake zone, which is why the water looks so sweet, even in the afternoon on the fourth of July. This pic is gives a little better perspective
http://members.tccoa.com/texastbird/Monster/MVC-534F.jpg

Texas, try one sack in the front, tween the seats, and one in the back in front of the back seat.If your boat has ski lockers, put them in there so they'll be out of the way.
You got a good deal on your boat, and it looks really nice.
