OK, this isn’t wakesurfing, but I got injured before I had a chance to get around to it. <BR> <BR>I had five day and four nights boating lined up at our annual family reunion. We have our reunion near Angola Indiana, at the Pokagon State Park, staying at the Potawatomi Inn. The Inn is just a wonderful state treasure, celebrating it’s 80th anniversary this year. My family has been visiting this park on and off for 70 of those 80 years. With names like Potawatomi and Pokagon and the family history it’s needless to say that this is a unique and special experience, my favorite boating experience. <BR> <BR>Everyone one was stoked to see each other again and to ride behind uncle Ed’s boat. We got up at 6:00 AM to ride the morning butter. First I pulled my daughter and several on my nieces. Then I had two wakeboard pulls on my first set. I’ve been working on riding switch and my one wake 1s. <BR> <BR>Going switch toe side in to the wake for a 1 I had a bad fall. Ended my day, week, and maybe all of July. The hospital said bone chip had broken off my ankle and that the deltoid ligaments were severely torn. I saw an orthopedic doctor the next day.
