I’m new to the forum and wanted to say hello. What a great forum! I’ve been enjoying reading and learning for several days.

I also wanted to ask for the opinions of the experts here on what design and features make the “best wakesurfing boat”. I’m an amateur boat builder and want to build a boat specifically for wakesurfing (just for my own use – not to sell). I’m a goofy foot rider so if there are any tips for getting the best starboard side wake I would love to hear them. Thanks in advance for any info / advice.

Charlie

Nothing will beat the wake of the new Malibu 247 with the Power Wedge! For more info on surfing and weighting a 247 check out www.themalibucrew.com

Get out to your local Centurion dealer and look at the hull on an Enzo - by many accounts the best surfing hull. Then look at Centurion Lightning - my hull - possibly everything you don't want in a hull

I have some other ideas I'm working on but I think I'll hold back giving any new reports until I see if they pan out.

entrust, that wake is huge, how do you have it weighted?

entrustclothing 06-02-2006 1:20 PM

700# sac in the front, 750# sac in the rear locker and like 6 people on the boat
entrustclothing 06-02-2006 1:21 PM
