Im lookinjg for ideas on boat wraps im just kind of wanting to see what everyone has and if anyone has any good ideas let me know im going to be doing it on a 2010 230 nautique the boat will be black and im thinking of wrapping the speakers and do something on the tower to and the windows will be blacked out

lancesaville 07-01-2009 3:35 AM

I think stock air nautique graphics look pretty sweet. Just powdercoat the tower and get the tint done and see what you think before doing a wrap. Just a thought/opinion. Might save some cash. Good luck bro.

biggris79 07-02-2009 4:40 PM

I wanted to do something diff i was going to keep it blacked out but maybe put a wrap in it that is like carbon fiber with like ghost skulls on flames in it not where it have bright colors and if anyone has any ideas what would look good let me know

BOO COO - Zdecals.com has sells them installed for about $3500. Whats cool about that is they have the designs and they ship to a 3M certified installer anywhere in the country for installation.

Great people to work with.... <BR><a href="https://sirlinenterprises.com/work" target="_blank">https://sirlinenterprises.com/work</a> <BR> <BR>I do not work for them..... I had him work up a few thing for our old boat. The only reason we did not have him do it is we bought another boat....

brett564 07-03-2009 12:43 PM

Chris, how long do they last? Assuming you don't leave the boat in the water.

Going over the rub rail doesn't seem like a good idea..... on a boat that gets used anyway. <BR> <BR>Cool graphics. But plaid???? I don't get it.

bhog 07-08-2009 11:49 AM

The Mastercraft Wraps are so tight.

Very impressive Trevor. The Nike 6.0 boat with the eel is pretty cool. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by Pierce Bronkite on July 08, 2009)

Um... The Parks wrap... <BR> Who's the 70's porn star on the platform? <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/blush.gif" border=0>

boomshot 07-09-2009 8:19 AM

The anime one is unique and passable. I've not seen one quite like that. Thumbs up. <BR> <BR>The rest are garish noize - fitting on a garish noize boat like the X-Star. The wrap on the CSX makes me sad because that boat is awesome. The wrap on the Malibu is passable if MONSTER THEMSELVES bought the boat for the owner. To me that's like wrapping your boat with a Wal*Mart decal but I don't sport name brands. This body, this boat, ain't for sale. <BR> <BR>Post some cool wraps on Tiges! (c'mon I have to...) <BR> <BR>-Boom

mc_x15 07-09-2009 1:05 PM

Just a quick question, I use to do vehicle wraps for a company a few yrs ago, mainly box trucks and 18 wheelers and we use to tile the panels down the side. It looks like the boat wraps are all one piece for full wraps. Is that correct?? Seems like it would be much more difficult than box trucks. Also we use to print on UVR and solvent machines depending on the application, what process is used on boats? I would think solvent. I still have ins at my old job and was thinking about doing my own wrap, hence the questions. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Old Wet Sounds RZ4 wrap done by Re Boat. And new Wet Sounds RZ2 wrap done by Wake Graphics. <BR> <BR>Tim <BR>Wet Sounds <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714550.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714551.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714552.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714553.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714554.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714555.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714556.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714557.jpg" alt="Upload">

Mastercraft's Loco wrap, and the green/black Supra from Zdecals have got to be my favorite... Some of these are just too much.

traveler 07-09-2009 8:07 PM

I agree, sometimes like make-up on a woman, <BR> less is more.

Rockwell Time put out a pretty sick wrap on an Axis A22... <BR> <BR><a href="http://wakeutah.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/rockwell_axis_1.jpg" target="_blank">http://wakeutah.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/rockwell_axis_1.jpg</a>

wakereviews 07-10-2009 9:26 AM

I can appreciate the artistic ability but I am not into skulls at all. That rockwell boat is killer.

hawaiianstiln 07-10-2009 11:12 AM

I wouldn't mind a small wrap on the front sides of my X2 to add some more white up front. I was trying to think of some fancy MasterCraft lettering like I have seen above and that's it. I guess that's not really a wrap, but I'm just trying to add more white up front a little. Maybe the small wrap is the way to go. <BR> <BR>No wrap on this pic obviously, but just displaying why I'm looking for a wrap on my boat. Any ideas?? <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/714904.jpg" alt="Upload">

guido 07-10-2009 12:22 PM

Both of the Wet Sounds boats are ILLLLLLLLL!!! <BR> <BR>Some great looking boats here. The best part about a wrap is that you can make it go away when you get tired of it.

allen 07-10-2009 12:27 PM

we saw a SICK Utopia X-star at ski beach last weekend, the CF's were from Arizona so I guess that would make them AZ's (the registration was from Arizona) <BR>That boat was sick as hell!!! They even wrapped the windshield. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by allen on July 10, 2009)

extremeisaac 07-10-2009 12:31 PM

Al saw that boat last weekend too.. it was actually docked at Whiskey when we stopped by to check it out... I think the back said one eleven ink or something.. he had a tower full of speakers as well

seanmcd 07-10-2009 10:54 PM

Kieth, I LOVE how that boat looks, so clean and stylish. <BR> <BR>Don't wrap Bro.

adam_balon 07-11-2009 1:18 AM

that monster one looks stupid. yea i would be caught dead riding behind a big pepsi logo. <font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font><font color="ff0000">•</font>

puckinshat 07-11-2009 7:30 AM

What is ballpark cost on a wrap? Would it be worth/could it be done to a 1994 MC PS205? It is chalked out purple and I would love to go to a more modern color/design. Also, I leave my boat in the water, is that an issue? <BR> <BR>Sick work guys, I really like many of these!

K.B.C. 07-11-2009 7:49 AM

Yes it is an issue, your wrap likely wouldnt last more than a few years and will set you back something like $3k. It could be done though, just not worth it IMO. <BR> <BR>Pokemon? Seriously, WTF?

bullydog 07-11-2009 3:50 PM

This boat is at the local Mastercraft dealer for sale. One of the sweetest wraps i've seen. I also really like the Tige wrap. <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/715239.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR> <BR>I would hate to peel off $3000+ when I got tired of it though.

hatepain 07-11-2009 5:33 PM

I don't mind skulls but those ones look stupid for some reason.

adam 07-12-2009 1:37 PM

Finally uploaded the image.. lol sick wrap on the Axis A22 <BR> <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65921/715491.jpg" alt="Upload">

biggris79 07-12-2009 7:34 PM

that rockwell boat is something like i want to go with like they have the fence in the back ground and maybe put nautique on the side with maybe little skulls in the background like the fence is at the back and may kind of make it go with the nautique eagle on the side of a black 230 any good ideas on this

kirk 07-13-2009 8:24 AM

Why do wakeboard boats get away with having huge <BR>manufactors logos splashed all over the boat in huge letters and people seem to love it. <BR> Seems to me that you should be getting income for advertising for them...

adam 07-13-2009 8:54 AM

Well, the Rockwell Axis is actually a Rockwell Boat... LOL <BR> <BR><a href="http://www.wakeworld.com/getarticle.asp?articleid=2330" target="_blank">http://www.wakeworld.com/getarticle.asp?articleid=2330</a> <BR> <BR>I have Spy Optic, Rockwell, and Malibu Boats stickered up on my wakeboard for looks.. im not getting kickback from any of them, I do it to show my support to them... kinda thanks for pushing the industry and supporting it..

kirk 07-13-2009 9:04 AM

I understand a promo boat for a business, but some of the logos are ridiculous. So...would you put a huge Spy Optic logo on your boat to show you support them? (or a Monster logo?) <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR> <BR>. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by kirk on July 13, 2009)

adam 07-13-2009 9:07 AM

I'd do it still.. it would make me feel like a sponsored pro... <img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/biggrin.gif" border=0> <BR> <BR>I've got the spy stickers, now i just need a boat!! Anyone? <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/clipart/rofl.gif" border=0>

wakeslife 07-13-2009 9:24 AM

The monster wrap is ridiculous if there is no affiliation with the company there...
