Check your trailers.... again
 

I saw a thread on here about sportboat trailers in the past and now that we have disassebled ours to have it repainted we discovered more problems. The main tube where the axle plate mounts to the trailer has severe cracks through the tube and almost completely through. I have pics, but am at work right now and no way to put them up. The issue i saw in the past was the same that i saw on here with the bunk supports punching through the tube. Be aware you can only notice this when the fenders are removed and the carpet is out of the way of the trouble area. Hope nobody has this problem, but wouldnt hurt to check.

this is how is should be. I have also noticed where the torsion axles are welded on, there might be some cracks in the paint, and that is worrisome.

sorry forgot to get the pics off the camera. will do it this weekend. the trailer is a 2004 i believe. it is a 2005 sanger on it. the trailer also has traveled a good amount of miles compared to "normal"
