Looking for used wakeboard for big guys
Seems like every year we bring newb's out and they all have big feet.Been thinking about getting a used board for the 225 pound size 10-13 people that seem to end up with us.Is a 138 Belmont to small for the big beginners? Any recommendations? If 138 is not too small then I'll get a new board and let the newb's ride my old Belmont.

A 138 might be a bit small.....Im 230.and ride a 141 Marius and a 144 Faction.
Belmont is a great shape just might be a bit small for bigger tall guys. |
I just switched from a 146 trip to a 145 Marek and absolutely love it. I highly recommend it. Tons of pop. I am 6'6" and 240

For a large beginner a 138 is too small. I'd say you want at least a 142 and would be better off with a 144+. Also go with a more mellow shape than the Marek, its not the best beginner board there is. For Hyperlite, check out the 142 Tribute or 144 Forefront.

i say get a new board for you and tell them to get there own gear or ride what ever you got! a hard lesson to learn but i learned. and now i have a **** ton of gear that is usless to me. when i get new gear my old gear turns to boat gear and ether they bring there own or they ride what i got. call me selfish but why should i spend money on gear i cant use?

I have a 2013 CWB Faction 144. Been ridden a couple of times. It's for sale.

I'm six foot one and around 240, and I love my Slingshot lyman. I'd say it's the best and most fun board I've ever ridden. Tons of pop, very loose and forgiving on the water.
