Who do you guys think will win or take everyone by surprise this upcoming year on the tour in the junior men and pro division (taking in consideration that a lot of junior mens are moving to the pro category) Lets hear your predictions!!!
Parks comes back with an old school bag of tricks and destroys the competition!... 7's, 9's, double whirly, vulcan, pete 5, 313, blind judge, double mobe, etc.

Would love to see that, but it probably never gonna happen. I would sat Rathy, Malinoski, or Harf.
I dont know about suprise but I see Harley doing very well again as well as Rathy and Rusty
2010 Jr men's champion-Steel Lafferty
what diff tricks to people predict from 09 to 10?

personaly would like to see more glids, sbends, 313s.
bob is gonna win the tour
I predict that people are going to argue over the marketing.
Repeat by Harley
Mitch Langfield
Mitch Langfield blew his knee out in november, has had surgery in early december, will be of the water for 12 months, definatly would have been a contender for the title
Is that not the third time Langfield has blown his knee? If so, sounds like it is quitting time.
Bob will dominate in his first year. Harley might have something to say about it though.
I say Rusty wins the pro tour and king of wake. he has been chasing it for a long time and with landing 10s almost 90% of the time he will hit one in comp again for sure.
harley, rathy, then harf. bob will be in there too and andrew a will be in the top 5 at the end. i'm not sure about rusty, i think him and phil will have to push it to both be top 5 but they should each do very well at least a couple times.

dark horse... oli derome or dean smith
I have Rusty to win the tour, as well. He spins the 10 better than anyone and I think that will boost him enough to win it. With so many people doing 10s now, Phil is going to have to get them down to have a hope of winning.
I feel bad for mitch, loads of talent and has been so unlucky with his knee problems

This will be Bob and Harleys year, tough to compete against those 2 kids with pure talent and consistency not too mention theyre still getting better. Cant forget Rathy of course, guys a machine
People need to remember, you stomp a 10, you win the spin category....there's a lot more to it than one trick off the dub. if they don't make it to the point where they even get to hit a dub....then what? Unless you're Steel and land one off the wake.

I see harley going far again, Rathy being right there with him, then after that, I have no idea. Will Harf ride the tour this year or take it off....could change things too. Agree with Mark...Bob could be a contender as well.

Personally, I'd love to see Andrew take it, ad while he should be up there, I doubt he will. Regardless, it will be an interesting year.

Anybody think we'll see another 12 or any double inverts?
hey dont forget about Phillip Soven
A lot of great riders, and as hard as it is for me to say this... This is my prediction

1. Phillip Soven
2. Rusty Malinoski
3. Harley Clifford
4. Aaron Rathy
5. Bob Soven

Rusty does have the 1080 more consistent than anyone, but keep in mind that he has only done it one time in a competition and that was a huge achivement in the sport of wakeboarding... We're still not at the point where we see multiple people throwing them consistently in competition. I think Phil will do a w2w 10 this year while freeriding, and not because he necessarily needs it in his contest run.
tell us who you think the top 5 will be harley.

i also wonder if anyone will add any new moves to their run or have anything no one else is doing.

anybody remember the wakeboarding mag that came out spring 09. it had a feature on who the contenders would be. i don't even think harley was mentioned... they know their stuff! and they picked phil and rusty to battle for first the whole time. they missed that one too.

i feel sorry for mitch L too, but also for us, he's one of my favorites to watch ride for sure.
I think this season will be the year of the Monster riders.

1) Danny Harf - M
2) Harley Clifford - M
3) Phillip Soven
4) Jimmy LaRiche - M
5) Bob Soven - M
it will be so hard to pick who will win. The good thing is that hopefully it wont be a 2 horse race, fans will get to see the best riding from these guys.
There is any number of riders who could win on the day
You might actually be able to make a prediction if the tour got rid of this mid season catchup points BS. (total and complete crap)
Adkinson got totally F'd last year. Yeah sure it makes it "more interesting" but not a true representation of how the actual riders rode all year.
Catchup points? WTF?? Is the tour trying to be like Family Feud where the first stops don't really count???
I'm hoping Rathy or Rusty. Both Canadian boys have what it takes and I'd love nothing more than to see either take the tour. As for my predictions there's such a mixed bag of riders out there between age/style to even guess other than to repeat what has been said already.
the catchup points are part of king of wake. they don't affect the pro tour at all.
harley
aaron
phil
dean
rusty
danny
and i think nick davies needs to ride more boat! haha
yup id love to see nick hit all the stops of the pro tour!
