so how do you guys tie your boat up to keep it off the dock. i have a floating dock that i will be leaving my boat at during the weekends this summer. has anybody tried the whips or anything else that works

I'm not at our camp too often (4 hours away) but when I'm there I found that if I put the two bouys in the right spot and two ropes just the right length to the pylon, it's impossible for the hull to hit the dock. But if I was there all weekend, every weekend, I'd probably invest in some mooring whips.
