I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts on this board are since I've heard relatively little about it. Is it more of a rail specific board or is it along the same lines as what slingshot has going on??? I'm in the market for a new board in 2010 and wanted to try something new and possibly a flex board. I'm just not sure if coming from Ronix One that this would be a huuuuuuge adjustment.

It's a flex board but it's the same shape as his new board for 2010 so it's got features on the bottom and is not just a flat board on the bottom like a Roam or the 2010 LF FLX Henshaw board. When I talked to Jimmy Redman about it, he said it was the board that can do everything, so you can go straight from wake to wake behind the boat to the cable park and not have to worry about having two different boards. Plus, it has the Grind Base whereas the regular Watson for next year won't.

Is the fly the new shape?
|
I believe it is but not positive on that. I saw it a few weeks ago but didn't pay too much attention to the Fly. They did change up the Fly core this year and it is supposed to be an improvement on last year's.
