Im riding an 05 gb caddy 135 as of now and am looking to upgrade. Looking for something light, fast, loose, and good pop. I demo'd a shane in the summer, and seemed like the board for me. I was gonna pick it up at the end of the season but I like the 07 much more. Is there any other board you guys reccomend me looking into? Maybe a ronix one, or absolute plat. I held harf's setup at nationals and the ronix felt very heavy compared to any LF or CWB. As for the absolute, the price is kinda leading me away.

Mope the Ronix is the lightest setup out there and youd probably like it better than the shane.

As a rider of the Absolute for the last few years I can honestly say I love that board to no end. From what I've heard of the One, its a great shape and I also really liked the Shane. For me however the Absolute comes alive under my feet, something about how well it edges and the ridiculous release it gets off the wake when ridden finless. Its just super consistent, smooth and so much fun to ride, whether you wanna break it free and butter around or if you want to boost. The platinum is incredibly snappy too and worth every penny. Good luck.

You might want to demo the Transcend as well. It is fast, loose, and has great pop. I ride the Absolute but I have ridden my buddy's Transcend. Compared to the Absolute, its a little faster and looser, but with great pop and release off the wake.

You need to demo a 07 CWB Transcend for sure, it does everything great, everything!!

I third the Transcend. I still haven't tried the One. I've heard a lot of good things about it, but I can tell first hand that the Transcend is sick. I still like the Absolute, but I just thought the Transcend did everything a bit better. Also be on the lookout for the Faction. It'll be a faster, harder edging board than the Absolute or Transcend.

Think about going non-platinum if price is too high. Platinum is sick, but the foam core works great too. I ended up going with the foam Transcend because I thought the graphics were dope. I actually like the slightly softer board, too. Just feels a bit more mellow.

I 4th the Transcend!

The Absolute and Transcend both do it well.

Absolute for the riders that prefer a slower board.

Transcend for those that prefer a faster board.

I have the CWB Transcend, Absolute and the new Faction---all are great boards that I highly recomend. i am used to a 3 stage rocker, but was completely suprised by the Faction(continuous). It has amazing pop, very consistent and super soft landings!!! I thought the Transcend was soft, I took some huge tricks out in the flats that would normally leave my knees pretty sore for the next couple of days---did not even feel it on the Faction.
Try everything you can until you find what fits your style---good luck!

Im 5'9 and 145, do you guys think that the transcend 138 wouldn't be too big?
