What are the good poin ts of this boat and the neg point ?? <BR>Wake is good, rampy or step ? <BR>ballast system is good ?? <BR>motor ? <BR>storage ?? <BR> <BR>between a SAN 00-01 or a X-Star 00-01 what would you choose ?

you are opening a can of worms with this one.... <BR> <BR>I would choose the MC but that's just me. SAN will have a steeper wake and maybe not quite as much room inside. Since they are both used go with the one you can get a better price on and which one is in better shape, they are both awesome boats!!

That would be a toss up between the two boats. I would get an '01 star over the '00 though. Both the MC and the san will have a crappy ruff water ride. The wakes are similar, but the San will be steeper. Motors are good on both boats, same as ballast and storage(I think are about the same). It would come down to price, and dealer for me.

why are you asking us? you should demo both and then tell us which one you liked most and why...

01 tower is better than 00 on the x-star...
