We are headed for Lake Powell first week in Aug… we will have the houseboat for 7 days out of Wahweap. We were last there in 2005 was a good trip but I never found the perfect camp spot or the perfect water as I had in previous trips when the water was higher. I would really like some advice on where to go to try and find some nice camp spots. We usually try to find two different camps while we are there just to change it up a bit. If anyone is willing to share numbers with me that would be great… PM them to me if you would like to keep them off the site & I will not share them without your permission.... any info would be great!

Thanks

Steve

You could always check out Padre Canyon or Rock Creek Bay. We also found a pretty sweet spot 2 years ago at end of Face Canyon.

Our favs include Navajo canyon, weatherreal, and Padre bay. The nice thing about navajo is that it is close to wahweap and not to many people camp there. It is hard to find a sandy beach but well worth it when found.
