84 SN2001 Restore ( PICS )
10 Attachment(s)
So I bought this boat 2 years ago Febuary and fianlly decided to make it mine by completly restoring it my way. New floor, stringers, and color by local shop. Interior all hand made and covered by friends and I over the 3 day weekend. I still have to make some pads for passenger seat and sunpad. Ballast boxes are beside the cover and in the middle of the sunpad. The 10" enclosures are solid. Windshield will be back on also. I painted the frame and order some new glass.
Also I want to run just and IPOD. I need to know what are some good middle line AMPS and EQ, also how to wire multiple amps and eq to IPOD. 2 450 watt 10s, 4 Polk dbs in boat, and 6 in liquid trends box. Thanks all, let me know what you think. |
Looking good. I like the green. Now you have to paint the trailer.
|
it looks pretty sweet so far.

Retro green, cool

cool!
What kind of paint is that and how did you prep the surface? Looks glossy, any clearcoat? I'd like to paint everything below the rub rail on mine, just not sure how it would hold up. |
it's coming along nicely! keep us posted.
|
this is gonna be sweet!

Looking good. Love those boats!
|

Thanks for all the comments.
A shop did all the floor, hull and paint work. The paint is Duron and it is what they use on semi-trucks. I know when I saw it before he painted it all of the stripes were gone and he filled every nick or scratch in the gel. I believe he said the Duron was a 2 part that you mixed together. That is what gives it the shine. I am hoping to have the interior completely finished next week. We ran out of material. I am going to use the original seat and just recover it. The seat I purchased doesnt match. The girl is still around. Maybe i can get her to model with the boat when it is done!! ;) Will definately post some more pics when she is done. :) |
agreed. were gonna need more pics of the OP girl :D
