New prop hits trailer on 21v

I have a 05 21v, dinged up the prop and after doing a lot of research and talking to OJ i ended up going with the 14.25 x 14 prop which has worked out excellent except for the fact that it will very slightly hit the trailer if not in a perfect position. I read on here about a lot of people who used the same prop on this boat, has anyone had this issue? Was thinking I could put some kind of spacers under the bunks on the back or work on adjusting the prop/rudder guard that the prop hits. My boat stays in the water for most of the summer on a lift so normaly not an issue but for the few times i take it out to go on trips it would be nice to not have to keep switching the prop. Any suggestions?

Call Boatmate and get a shim kit sent out to you.

Seems strange. I had that prob on my 05 21V and it was fine. That was the first year of the 21V, so maybe you have one of the first trailers off the line. That is also about when they came up with that prop I think. It is nice that you keep the boat off the trailer all summer. Should be an easy fix to just shim it up a bit since the boat is off it and easy to work on it.

Ditto that. That is a trailer problem not a prop problem. Call Boatmate.

I'd say shim the trailer, I have a 14.75x13 prop on my 21v and have no issues with trailer clearance.
