Bi-Level skate with eva foam?

Anyone know if that's been done before? I'm looking to get a skate with foam, but I want the weight/pop of a bi-level. I don't want griptape because I will be teaching other people how to ride and it always seems to scratch them up. once they're scratched up they decide they don't like skating and quit... Any ideas?

We finally just bought a stand-up-paddle eva traction pad - not cheap at $100 - to put on our Ronix bi-level. Tore off the grip tape & installed the eva. Same problem, people were getting scuffed up way too often. It took us a couple years before we finally splurged for the eva.

You dont want to teach people on bi-levels. They are harder to get up on and are very fragile. If you fall wrong, the board can split and break.

You should just get a flat deck to teach people on

What type of adhesive did you use to attach the foam to the board? Was it fairly easy to dismount the original griptape?
