Handles rough water like nothing.

I've seen 95 mph in a 40' Fountain. It's quite a rush, and they ride smooth as silk over 4' chop. That guy is getting a little more airborne than I'd probably be comfortable with, but those boats can handle it. Too rich and douchey for me to be interested in anything more than a quick ride, though.

Actually pretty tame for it's class....curious he doesn't mention what he is running for motors. Nice boat, though.
Definitely more airborne than I would feel comfortable with!
That's what those boats are made for. Add says 81mph with T-500HP's but not sure if those are the EFI's or the older ones also dosent' mention which drives but I'd assume Bravo 1's. I love the boats but IMHO the Fountains are really looking dated but depending on the year 99K isn't a bad price for a 38 esp with the offer to owner finance.

I guess when I hear "handles rough water like nothing" I don't expect to be airborne.
How the hell is it even airborne? There is not any chop it seems like for that to be possible nor any sign of wave impact that should be there if you are airborne like that
I think at lake of the O, its more swells than chop.
If you've ever been to Lake of the Ozarks --- you realize you need a boat like that just to go out. That place succcccccccccccccccccccccccks unless you wanna get hammered, fall in piss water, contract HEP-B, and then die.

This is what. "Handles rough water like nothing" means. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssusW...eature=related

You don't want too much air or your in for an awful ride...or should I say abrupt stop.
Sweet!

Panteras are the definition of well made offshore boats. Quality stuff, and the family that builds them stands behind their products. Lifetime warranty on the hull, whether its used for pleasure or for racing. I debated getting a 24' a year or so ago... |
