Check engine light came on...help
 

Today at the lake my check engine light would come on whenever i would put the boat in reverse. The RPMs would drop really low when it happened. I would turn it off and back on and it would go away. The boat ran fine otherwise. Do you think it is serious? Someone suggested that i needed to put some fuel injector cleaner in it. The boat is an 06 Xstar with the MCX. I would like to use the boat for the rest of the weekend and want to know what you guys think. Do you guys think it is serious?
